Q. I believe I have changed the Pal / NTSC setting and now cannot get a picture.
I have an Aladdin Advance V1-0v1.6 mod with a 250 gb HD.


A. A. As this is a software related problem it does not matter which xbox mod chip is installed. You must look on the net for a program called enigmah video switch for xbox and Burn it to a DVD or DVDRW or Verbatim CDRW (so you do not waste a disc.) Remember to burn its contents in the root directory-

Insert it in the Xbox and boot it with modchip "ON".

Wait 30 seconds or enough time for your boot disc to load - and press the RED or GREEN button on your controller to switch between NTSC and PAL just try hitting one button each time-


And reboot the xbox.

You can connect your Xbox to your PC by FTP Tutorial here and Transfer the Enigmah Video Switch xbox application to your PC and then burn it to disc.

Q. Does DuoX3 xbox modchip work with in game reset?

A. Yes - Paul from BB brisbane had some trouble getting it to work with in game reset - but all he said he did was reflash one of the Bios (it has 2x 256k Bios chips) of the modchip with an older xecutor Bios and he said BBBingo BBBobs your uncle.

These xbox mods come with both bios banks pre flashed with Evox M8 so on a 1.6 xbox console in game reset only reboots the xbox back to microsoft original dashboard. On all other version xbox using an executor BBbios is AOK with IGR.

With xbox when you mod it with a mod chip you can also install a larger hard drive and put movies and games on the hard drive - not needing to insert the game disc.
